Characteristics
The lift was originally 1848 m long (valley station elevation 1320 meters above sea level), but it was around 2009 shortened to the actual lenght, keeping the original components. The DC motor was replaced in March 2009, The drive gear is manufactured by Pomini-Farrel and is not original, it was installed in the '80s. The emergency diesel drive is still powered by the original VM engine, 230 CV.
