| Relocation of the valley station over the years due to glacier retreat. This continued until the route was shortened to include a midway station, which served as the starting point during the ‘glacier autumn’ as the valley station could not be reached on skis. 2026: Shortening on the lower end of the lift. The previous technical specifications are as follows: - Valley station altitude: 2,790 m - Length: 2,150 m - Capacity: 1,435 p/h - Speed: 3.5 m/s - Journey time: 9.5 min - Control system: ELIN - Number of bars: 174 Another new feature is that the mountain station is now under CCTV-surveillance and is therefore not constantly staffed. |
