In summer 2005, the track width of the railway was widened from 800mm to 1000mm, the line was renovated and the bridges replaced. The railway carriages were converted to 1000mm gauge. The turnout was also lengthened during the conversion, as larger carriages are planned to increase capacity. 2024: new valley station, new vehicles, new rope, new control, barrier-free remodelling and increase in transport capacity from 740 to 1400 passengers per hour, speed increased from 2,5 to 10m/s |
