Question:
What is a bicable ropeway?

Answer:
Bicable ropeway A bicable ropeway is an aerial ropeway with one or more track cable(s) along which the vehicle rolls by means of its carriage. The vehicle is propelled by means of one or more traction rope(s). This "bi" does not refer to the number of ropes but to the two different functions (carrying and pulling) which the two different rope types (track and traction) perform. This system is widely used because of its relatively high wind resistance and the fact that it is possible to span greater distances without towers.
Transport capacity up to 5000 pers/h
Speed up to 6 m/s
